A random sample of 150 students from a large high school found that 93 support starting school later. A one-sample z-test of H0: p = 0.50 versus Ha: p > 0.50 gives z ≈ 2.94 and a p-value of about 0.0016. At the α = 0.05 level, which conclusion is best?
The exam is different in 2027
Old practice material was written for a different test. Here is what the College Board changed.
Five units, not nine
The course was consolidated for 2026–27. Some topics were removed, including inference for slopes and the chi-square goodness-of-fit test.
Fully digital
Every response, including free response, is typed in the Bluebook app. A Desmos calculator is built in.
Fewer, bigger free-response questions
Four questions worth 10 points each. Each one is 12.5% of your whole exam score.

Why I built UpTest!
I’m Jeff Kent, a veteran AP® Statistics teacher.
I have been frustrated with the lack of resources to analyze where my students struggle and to practice those skills to help them master difficult topics. I also wanted a site where I could easily assign students resources and practice tailored to their needs not just the needs of a class as a whole.Every question in UpTest! is written for UpTest!, not copied from College Board exams, and every fact about the 2027 exam on this page was checked against the College Board’s own documents.
Frequently asked
Is UpTest! made by or affiliated with the College Board?
No. AP® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, this website.
Is it free?
You can start free with the diagnostic and practice questions. Paid options will unlock more, and you will always see the price before you pay anything.
Does it match the 2027 exam format?
Yes. The practice exams use 42 four-choice multiple-choice questions and four free-response questions, matching the redesigned exam.
Where do the questions come from?
They are written for UpTest!, not copied from College Board exams.
Can my whole class use it?
Yes. A teacher creates a class and shares a class code. Students join with the code, and the teacher can assign work and see results.
